Steve who currently holds The MHFed and City n’ Guilds Barber of the year awards, has been in the barbering industry for a few years (precisely 24yrs), but like the industry, seeks to move and constantly harness his craft, so we can keep up with clients needs and expectations, this is what he has built North’s ethos around.
As the salon owner takes great pride in the solid foundations put in place at North and the continued development not just for the salon but also into the team is so clients get a great experience.
Christie
Salon Manager/Senior Barber
From apprentice to salon manager, Christie’s journey at North has been nothing short of boss. Originally from Liverpool, she’s been with us for over 7 years and has built a loyal following for her precision work and calm confidence behind the chair. Her scissor cuts are making waves on Instagram right now, think clean, modern, effortlessly tailored. Christie’s the go-to if you're after something sharp, structured, and seriously well-executed. She leads the team with experience, edge, and that signature Northern graft.
George
Senior Barber
George has been part of the North crew for 5 years and has earned a rep for some of the cleanest clipper work around. His fades are tight, his finishes are polished, and he’s all about getting the details right. No big talk — just solid, consistent cuts and a chilled approach that keeps clients coming back. Reliable, down to earth, and always on his game.
Sam
Senior Barber
Sam Lamoon has been barbering for 10 years, building a solid reputation across some of the best barbershops in Devon. With a strong background in barbering education, Sam has not only honed his own craft but also played a key role in mentoring others. He's had a massive impact on the career of our very own George Mannings, helping shape him into the barber he is today. Sam brings experience, precision, and a passion for the trade to North Barbers every day.

Barber
Luca has been perfecting his craft for the last 3 years, bringing a fresh and modern edge to barbering. After earning his qualifications, he spent time in the States, where he picked up new techniques and style influences. Now back in the UK, Luca’s bringing his international flair to North Barbers, keeping things sharp and on-trend.
Lincon
Barber
Since joining the team 18 months ago, Lincoln’s gone from promising newcomer to one of the sharpest young barbers in the game. Winner of the ‘2024 Next Generation Barber of the Year’ and ambassador for both Denman and Ninja Scissors, he’s been building a loyal client base through clean fades, smooth scissor work, and a steady, focused presence behind the chair. Still early in his journey, but already making serious moves — Lincoln’s growth speaks for itself.

Graduate Barber
Isaac started with us as an apprentice and quickly proved he’s got serious talent. Now a fully qualified barber, he's smashing it on the floor with sharp fades, clean scissor work, and a calm, confident style. He’s great with all hair types and takes the time to get it just right.
